180 companies from eight countries are showcasing their offerings at the exhibition, organized by Iteca Exhibitions and the Uzbekistan Textile and Garment Industry Association with the official support of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
O. Bobojonova, Deputy Director of the Iteca Exhibitions, remarked that the annual event allows domestic producers to display their products and technologies, search for new export avenues, and sign agreements. 58 local companies are displaying quality textile and clothing goods, while 21 firms from India are participating in the National Pavilion for the first time. Additionally, 80 Chinese firms are exhibiting their wares as part of the USAID TCA program to support trade development in Central Asia. Yarns, fabrics, and other goods from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan are also on display. The exhibition will be open until October 20.
