Uzbekistan Airways has just acquired a second LET L-410 light aircraft from the Czech Republic. This plane will operate flights to Zaamin, Zarafshan, Shakhrisabz, Sokh, and other cities in Uzbekistan.
The LET L-410 turboprop aircraft was inspected and tested thoroughly before it set off from Kunovice, Czech Republic, and made a stop for refueling in Bulgaria, Türkiye, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Turkmenistan. It can accommodate up to 19 passengers and is suitable for take-off and landing on ultrashort runways of 510 meters. Additionally, it has a flight range of 1,500 kilometers, a maximum cruising speed of 405 kilometers per hour, and a maximum flight duration of 5 hours and 10 minutes.
The plane is equipped with modern Garmin GPS communication and navigation systems, as well as an advanced warning system for dangerous approaches. The first of these aircrafts arrived in Tashkent in mid-July and is now flying to Samarkand and Zaamin.
