Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the President of Turkmenistan, has arrived in the Kyrgyz Republic to attend the upcoming meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States. Upon his arrival at Manas International Airport in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, the Turkmen leader was welcomed by local officials.
Being an associated member of the CIS, Turkmenistan is committed to engaging in open and equal dialogue within the Commonwealth, which is in line with the country’s foreign policy. This strategy is focused on developing extensive, productive cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral formats, through respected international and regional organizations and institutions.
