At the gathering of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States, a solemn ceremony occurred to recognize the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, with the highest honor of the Organization – the CIS Badge of Honor – for his remarkable commitment to promoting friendship, neighborliness, and diverse cooperation.
It is worth noting that in recent years, Uzbekistan has increased its participation in the activities of the Commonwealth. The nation has taken part in the work of 24 industry cooperation bodies and has been actively involved in 65 CIS structures. During this period, the President of Uzbekistan has proposed around 70 initiatives in multiple essential areas. With the assistance of the Commonwealth member countries, the majority of them have been brought into fruition.
