The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has concluded his official visit to Bishkek, where he attended the Commonwealth of Independent States Summit, and has returned to Tashkent. Prime Minister Akylbek Japarov and other officials were present at Manas International Airport to bid farewell to the Uzbek leader.
At the Council of Heads of State of the CIS, Mirziyoyev presented a number of initiatives to strengthen mutual cooperation between the Commonwealth nations. In recognition of his efforts to cultivate friendship, good relations, and multifaceted cooperation, the President of Uzbekistan was presented with the CIS Badge of Honor.
During the Summit, Mirziyoyev had a meeting with the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko.
