news agency reported that the President of Italy, Sergio Mattarella, is planning a journey to Uzbekistan. The journey is scheduled to take place from November 9-11 and is part of the Strategic Partnership Agreement signed between the two countries. Mr. Mattarella will be accompanied by his daughter Laura and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Edmondo Cirielli. The President will be visiting the Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent and Samarkand. This visit follows the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s official visit to Italy in June.
