Representatives of domestic and Italian cinematography, as well as foreign guests, gathered at the “Sharq Yulduzi” movie theater in Samarkand for a grand event. This festival is being held in conjunction with the Cinematography Agency under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National Center for Cinematography Development as part of the XVI Verona Eurasian Economic Forum.
Firdavs Abdukhalikov, Director of the Cinematography Agency, Viviana Del Bianco, Director of N.I.C.E. Festival, Antonio Fallico, President of the Association “Conoscere Eurasia”, and others commented on the significance of this festival in strengthening the relationship between the two countries in culture and art.
Attendees were shown the movie “The Long Road”. The films “Amanda” and “The Sun of the Future” (“Il col della avvenire”) will be presented in Italian with Uzbek subtitles during the festival.
The festival will take place until November 4.
