President Yoon Pledges Active Assistance to South Korean Businesses in India

By Lee Haye-ah NEW DELHI, Sept. 10 (Yonhap) — President Yoon Suk Yeol committed to providing support to South Korean enterprises operating in India on Sunday, the presidential office reported. During a luncheon with executives from South Korean companies, such as Hyundai Motor Co., Samsung Electronics Co. and LG Electronics Inc., Yoon expressed his appreciation of their efforts in elevating the country’s reputation in various industries in India. He also promised to aid them in taking advantage of the strategic opportunities in the Indian market and resolving their difficulties. Approximately 530 South Korean businesses are currently established in India.
