On September 26, 2023, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, President of Turkmenistan, welcomed Francois Tronel, the General Director of “CARPI Tech”, and Alberto Maria Squero, the honorary president of the company, to the country. The guests congratulated the head of the Turkmen state on Independence Day, expressing their best wishes to the President and the people of Turkmenistan.
In response, the President of Turkmenistan thanked his guests and underlined that the nation is always open to effective collaboration with esteemed foreign partners, such as “CARPI Tech”. During the meeting, the two parties discussed the potential for partnership in the framework of the wide-ranging transformation programs taking place in the country, with particular focus being placed on the diversification of the industrial sector, modernisation of its infrastructure through the implementation of advanced technologies, and bringing in foreign expertise, particularly in the field of water supply systems.
President Berdimuhamedov also highlighted the importance of improving the agricultural system, protecting the environment, managing water resources and introducing new irrigation methods. He further noted that the country is engaged in joint projects with foreign countries and reputable international organisations to ensure ecological balance.
