On Tuesday, POSCO International revealed that its third-quarter net profit had grown to 195.2 billion won (US$145.4 million), a 73.1 percent increase from the same period in the previous year.
The company also stated in a regulatory filing that its operating income during the July-September period had gone up 58.2 percent year-on-year to 311.7 billion won. However, sales had dropped 11 percent to 8.04 trillion won.
