On Wednesday, LG Energy Solution Ltd. announced their third-quarter operating earnings had grown to 731.2 billion won (US$545.7 million), a 40.1 percent increase from the same period last year.
Revenue also increased by 7.5 percent to 8.22 trillion won, but the net profit figures were unavailable.
The operating profit was 9.7 percent higher than the average prediction according to a survey by Yonhap Infomax, which is the financial data arm of Yonhap News Agency.
The company will release its final earnings report at a later date.
