On Thursday, Hankook & Company Co. revealed that its third-quarter net profit climbed to 77.1 billion won (US$57.4 million), a 2.4% increase from the same period in the previous year.
The firm stated in a regulatory filing that its operating income for the three-month period from July to September rose 8.2% year-over-year to 84.2 billion won, while sales decreased by 0.5% to 282.7 billion won.
