Hanatour Service Reports Profits in Q2

SEOUL, Aug. 9 (Yonhap) — Hanatour Service Inc. announced on Wednesday that its second-quarter net profit had reached 19.8 billion won (US$15.1 million), a significant improvement from the 24 billion won loss in the same period last year.

Operating profit for the April-June period was 4.1 billion, compared to a loss of 33.7 billion won in the same period last year. Sales for the quarter increased 282.1 percent to 82.4 billion won.
