The Ministry of Foreign Affairs recently held a gathering between Oybek Shakhavdinov, head of the Department of Cooperation with European Countries and European Union Institutions, and a delegation from the Inter-Parliamentary Union group of the British Parliament.
The participants discussed the existing state and potential of Uzbekistan-British relations in the political, interparliamentary, economic, trade, cultural, and humanitarian realms.
The British delegation commended the sweeping reforms that have been implemented in Uzbekistan in recent years.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to deepen the constructive dialogue in various areas.
