DUSHANBE, 13.02.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – The Civil Aviation Agency reports that the topic of initiating direct flights between Dushanbe and Abu Dhabi, as well as Dushanbe and Sharjah, was discussed during a meeting between Habibullo Nazarzoda, Director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, and Saif Muhammad Alsuwaidi, Director General of the Civil Aviation Administration of the United Arab Emirates. The meeting, which took place during the Global Implementation Support Symposium in Abu Dhabi, also covered the possibility of establishing cargo flights between Tajikistan and the United Arab Emirates. Additionally, within the framework of the symposium, the Director of the Civil Aviation Agency met with the General Director of Air Arabia and the Regional Director of Wizz Air to discuss potential new routes and foreign investment opportunities in Tajikistan’s civil aviation sector. These meetings were held with the goal of promoting further development of the country’s civil aviation industry.
