President Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspected the cogeneration station recently installed in Chilanzar district in Tashkent. Last winter, there were interruptions in heat supply, especially in Oqtepa and Bogzor mahallas. The new system is expected to generate 4.6 megawatts of electricity and more than 29 gigacalories of heat per hour. Iltekno, a Turkish company, and Bosch boilers from Germany were involved in the project. 13 thousand meters of heating networks were replaced with insulated pipes to create a closed system. The heat distribution points are equipped with sensors to regulate heat depending on the external temperature. The complex will save 5.3 million cubic meters of natural gas and reduce emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere. Solar panels were installed on the roofs of multi-story buildings and transformers were replaced in Bogzor and Oqtepa mahallas. The Head of state noted the need to complete repair work as quickly as possible.
