The Uzbekistan team dominated at the Boxam-2024 International Tournament in Spain, securing 4 gold and 2 bronze medals. Shokhjakhon Abdullayev, competing in the -92 kg weight category, claimed gold after his opponent, Emmanuel Reyes Pla from Spain, failed to show up for the match. In the -63.5 kg weight category, Mujibillo Tursunov defeated Amit Kumar (India) in the finals, earning another gold for the team.
Khavasbek Asadullayev, competing in the -71 kg weight category, defeated Marco Verde from Mexico and claimed the top spot on the podium. Turabek Khabibullayev also secured gold in the -80 kg weight category, defeating Pablo Coy Bernal from the host country.
The Uzbekistan delegation also brought home bronze medals thanks to Lazizbek Mullajonov and Ruslan Abdullayev in their respective weight categories.
