Under the patronage of the Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA), the 2023 Seeds for the Future program has officially commenced in the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC). This event brings together 175 students from 15 countries in the Middle East and Central Asia, including Uzbekistan, for the first time in Qatar.

Rustam Karimjonov, Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, addressed the event. He expressed his confidence in the success of the program, citing its potential to drive economic growth, job creation, and bridge the digital divide.

Since its launch in 2008, more than 15,000 students from 139 countries have participated in the Seeds for the Future program. It has also been endorsed by over 450 senior officials and heads of state. The Tech4Good regional competition, now in its third year, will also be held during this program to empower youth to make a positive impact in their communities.

The program will include eight days of intensive training sessions and workshops, such as 5G, AI, cloud technologies, scientific and technological leadership, etc. Through these activities, participants will gain a better understanding of the topics, strengthen their future growth, and increase their employability.
