On Wednesday, South Korea’s Yonhap News Agency and Vietnam’s national news agency, Vietnam News Agency (VNA), collaborated with the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry to emphasize the corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts of South Korean businesses in Vietnam. The two organizations inked a memorandum of understanding in Seoul.

Under the agreement, Yonhap will regularly report on and publicize the CSR activities of South Korean firms in the Southeast Asian nation. The news agency will supply the material to VNA, which will then disseminate it on its electronic newspaper.

Seong Ghi-hong, CEO and president of Yonhap, and VNA General Director Vu Viet Trang were present at the signing ceremony.
