The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan recently passed a resolution to support women who wish to pursue careers in fields such as construction, transport, public utilities, agriculture, and services. Starting from the 2023/2024 academic year, these women will be able to receive an education based on a state grant, with the cost of tuition and other expenses being fully covered by the state budget.
The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation will work with other relevant ministries and agencies to ensure that students in grades 10 and 11 of secondary schools are provided with adequate guidance for their chosen field of study.
