At the end of the three-day event held in Kokand, more than 260 artisans from 70 countries were awarded diplomas and prizes in various categories. Hokim of Fergana region Khayrullo Bozorov, President of the World Crafts Council-Asia Pacific Region (WCC-APR) Saad Al-Qaddumi, Chairman of the Hunarmand Association Ulugbek Abdullayev and Hokim of Kokand city Marufjon Usmonov presented the awards.
The “Best Artisan” award went to Gulnora Odilova (Uzbekistan) in first place, Anahita Alavi (Iran) in second place, and Ravshan Norkhodjayev (Uzbekistan) in third place. The “Youngest Artisan” award was given to Abdullo Mirjamolov (Uzbekistan) in first place, Abdulloh Mirzaahmedov (Uzbekistan) in second place, and Rosid Ahmadi Ros (Indonesia) in third place.
The “Best Representative of a Craft School” award was given to Khasan Umarov (Uzbekistan) in first place, Mavluda Khamdamova (Uzbekistan) in second place, and Nurzad Jenbek kizi (Kyrgyzstan) in third place. The “Successor to the Ancient Dynasty” award was given to Bakhshillo Jumayev (Uzbekistan) in first place, Vohid Karimov (Uzbekistan) in second place, and Maryamkhon Ergaziyeva (Uzbekistan) in third place.
The “Revival of Ancient Art” award was given to Abdulla Nauruzbaev (Kazakhstan) in first place, Zulfiya Masharipova (Uzbekistan) in second place, and Molima Pihigia (New Zealand) in third place. The closing ceremony of the festival concluded with a festive concert.
