Irgashev and Heappey Engage in Dialogue on Regional Security and the Uzbekistan-Britain Relationship

Uzbekistan’s Special Representative for Afghanistan, Ismatulla Irgashev, and Britain’s Minister of State for the Armed Forces, James Heappey, had a meeting to discuss the current state of the Uzbekistan-British alliance and the security of the region, including the progress of Afghanistan. The British expressed their appreciation for Uzbekistan’s efforts to create a unified regional stance on Afghanistan, to promote permanent peace and stability in the nation, and to offer humanitarian assistance to the Afghan people. Additionally, the British side expressed their commitment to continuing to be actively involved with Uzbekistan in regards to Afghanistan.
