Young artists from Uzbekistan are currently participating in the annual International Children’s Art Exhibition, which is taking place from June 14 to July 11 in Pyeongtaek, South Korea. The Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Korea, in collaboration with the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan and Children’s Music and Art School No. 1 of Syrdarya region, has organized Uzbekistan’s involvement in the event. This year’s exhibition, with the theme “Peace to the World,” marks its 35th anniversary and is organized by the Pyeongtaek city administration and the International Exchange Foundation. Children and teenagers from 33 countries around the world are showcasing their art, with 280 pieces on display, including 14 works from young Uzbek artists. The pieces from Uzbekistan focus on themes of peace and harmony, promoting the rejection of war and the importance of universal human values. Through their artwork, the children express their dedication to good neighborliness, humanism, and global solidarity. The exhibition in Pyeongtaek serves as a platform for cultural exchange and mutual understanding among nations, providing visitors with the opportunity to appreciate the diversity of world cultures through the eyes of young artists.
