The city of Alma-Ata was the site of the Asia-2023 International Fencing Tournament, in which the young fencers of Tashkent region proudly represented Uzbekistan.
Saidakbar Akhmedov and Vadim Bagautdinov earned a bronze medal for their efforts. They were subsequently recognized with diplomas and monetary rewards.
