Uzbekistan President’s Speech Praised by Global Community

At the “Fifth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia: Stability, Security and Sustainable Development” held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Caroline Milow, the “Green Central Asia” program manager of the German Society for International Cooperation, addressed the attendees. She noted that the President of Uzbekistan’s pragmatic regional policy has enabled the removal of many existing barriers between the nations of Central Asia. His endeavors in strengthening security in the Central Asian region and actively promoting peace and stability in Afghanistan were highly praised by the international community. She further stated that the President’s statement expressing his intention to continue offering assistance to the Afghan people, creating an international humanitarian aid hub in Termez, and continuing to educate Afghans was widely recognized. In addition, the importance of dialogue on border security, water use, and trade was highlighted.
