Uzbekistan Emerges Victorious in Contest to Host 2024 ITF Championships

The International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) recently held a meeting on August 20 to decide which country would be the host of the 2024 World Cup. Laziz Hasanov, the head of the National Taekwondo Association of Uzbekistan, presented the nation’s sports potential to the executive committee, which was greatly impressed. After a vote among 145 countries, Uzbekistan was chosen as the frontrunner for the 2024 ITF Taekwondo World Cup and IMGC Singles World Championships. 18 athletes of the Uzbekistan national team will be taking part in the events, which will have competitors from more than 100 nations.
