Tanzila Narbayeva, Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with Carol Miller, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives.
During the discussion, the two parties talked about the extensive reforms taking place in Uzbekistan, the positive changes in the government and society, and the potential for further strengthening the strategic cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United States.

The meeting also focused on promising areas for expanding trade and economic partnerships, sharing agricultural knowledge, and implementing investment projects. Moreover, they exchanged ideas on enhancing collaboration in energy, education, healthcare, women’s rights, and gender equality.

The parties emphasized the important role of parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening bilateral relations, including the establishment of friendship groups and promoting interregional dialogues.
As a result of the meeting, agreements were made to further develop interparliamentary cooperation and strengthen bilateral ties.
