The Ministry of Digital Technology recently announced that 15 students from seven universities in Uzbekistan have been chosen to join Huawei’s yearly educational program, “Seeds for the Future”. This marks the ninth year that Uzbek students have taken part in the initiative, which includes participants from 15 countries in the Middle East and Central Asia. The project is part of Huawei’s corporate social responsibility and will give Uzbek participants the chance to sharpen their digital skills, exchange knowledge, and form a network of young talents. At the launch ceremony, Minister of Digital Technology Sherzod Shermatov was accompanied by representatives from Huawei and Nodira Tillayeva, a graduate of Inha University and one of the project’s 10 global Ambassadors. From September 2 to 9, 2023, the students will attend workshops and create a Tech4Good project, which they will submit to the regional competition. The winners will then have the chance to compete in the global finals in China. Nasiba Ziyodullayeva, UzA
