Uzbek Chess Players Representing the Country at the World Championships

The IBCA World Individual Chess Championship for the Blind and Visually Impaired is being held on the island of Rhodes. The tournament consists of nine rounds, with 82 chess players from 29 countries, including Uzbekistan. Kuralbay Jakashov, Ikrom Gulomov, Mokhigul Maqsudova and Sadoqat Ikromaliyeva are the Uzbek athletes who will be defending the honor of their nation until October 18.

Kuralbay Jakashov achieved victory in the first two rounds, while Ikrom Gulomov, Mokhigul Maqsudova and Sadoqat Ikromaliyeva all ended up in a draw.
