At a meeting between representatives of the United Arab Emirates’ G42 company and the Anti-Corruption Agency, the possibility of introducing digital technologies and artificial intelligence into the Agency’s activities was discussed. G42 produces software that uses an AI algorithm to detect cases of corruption and prevent money laundering and illegal activities in public procurement.

The Agency has already developed several electronic programs and products, such as the e-anticor platform for assessing government efforts to fight corruption, an electronic program to measure the transparency of state bodies, and an electronic system for receiving citizen appeals. Additionally, a platform is in place to monitor social media networks with AI.

The Agency also plans to introduce AI-based electronic platforms into its operations in public procurement and the implementation of anti-corruption programs and strategies. After the meeting, an agreement was reached to determine the exact areas of cooperation in digitalizing the Agency’s activities and introducing artificial intelligence.
