The Head of State visited the Gavhar Group jewelry enterprise in Yangi Namangan district during his trip to Namangan region on March 25-26, 2024. He gave instructions for the development of the industry in the region.
In the past year, efforts have been made to launch a large gold processing and sales center in Namangan, taking inspiration from Türkiye’s experience.
A delegation from Türkiye’s Lucca Gold Factory, led by CEO Yalçın Akın, visited Namangan region where they met with the region’s Hokim, Shavkat Abdurazzoqov.
The meeting discussed plans to establish a gold production facility in Namangan with the involvement of a foreign company. It was noted that the region has great potential for expanding production and increasing jewelry exports.
The Namangan Gold Factory is expected to receive a $5 million investment from Turkish partners, who are currently exploring the possibility of locating the enterprise in the regional center.
