Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], July 29 (ANI/PNN): Tridhaatu Realty, one of the leading real estate developers in Mumbai, has joined hands with MARD and Population Foundation India to host the city’s biggest marathon – Monsoon 10K run on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at Chembur. The 8th edition of the Monsoon 10K Run is expected to be even bigger and better than previous years. The renowned Bollywood actor, Farhan Akhtar, will inaugurate the marathon with the aim of ending cyber abuse and creating a safer online environment for people in the country. Since 2014, the Monsoon 10K Run has been the largest run in the Eastern Suburbs of Mumbai during the Monsoon season, attracting over 1000 runners from different parts of the city and state every year.
This event goes beyond just being a sporting event and becomes a highly anticipated and engaging affair. Participants will run to promote the end of cyber abuse and create a safer online experience for people.
In support of this cause, Pritam Chivukula – Co-Founder and Director of Tridhaatu Realty, said, “We are overwhelmed by the tremendous response we have received from people across the state since the inception of this marathon. This year, we are promoting the end of cyber abuse and crimes that have been affecting people’s lives, and we are doing our part to make the internet safer for everyone. This marathon brings people together for a common goal and motivates us to organize more such sporting events for the people of Mumbai.”
The marathon will have two categories, the 10K run starting at 06:00 am and the 5K run starting at 06:20 am. This year, the marathon is expecting over 1200 runners for the 10K category and 600 participants for the 5K run. After the marathon, all runners will receive participant medals and a delicious yet nutritious breakfast. The winners will be awarded trophies/gift hampers along with words of encouragement to promote safe online behaviors and end cyber abuse.
