The COEX exhibition center in Seoul, Republic of Korea hosted the “Seoul International Travel Fair – SITF 2025”, where Uzbekistan had a national exhibition stand. The delegation from Jizzakh region, led by Deputy Hokim Sardor Shukurullayev, also attended the fair and visited historical and cultural sites, as well as the Hahoe Folk Village in Andong.
During the visit, agreements were made for joint projects in the fields of tourism and culture. The event featured detailed information on the tourism potential, historical and cultural heritage, recreational areas, culinary traditions, handicraft practices, and modern infrastructure of Jizzakh region.
Meetings were also held with representatives from the tourism sectors of Azerbaijan, Mongolia, Sri Lanka, and Malaysia to discuss promoting Jizzakh region’s tourism potential, increasing foreign tourist inflow, and implementing cooperative projects.
