The Bostanlyk district of Tashkent region is known for its abundant tourism and natural potential, and the local government is taking steps to improve the infrastructure and services available to tourists. In 2020-2022, 26 tourist sites were launched, with a projected cost of $80.1 million, creating 964 jobs. 19 investment projects worth $33.2 million were implemented in the last 7 months of this year, providing services to 2,630 tourists and creating over a thousand jobs.

In order to further develop the tourism infrastructure in Bostanlyk, proposals have been submitted to the administrative council of Charvak Tourist and Recreational Zone to sell the right to provide vacant land areas for long-term lease through promotional bidding. As a result, 49.3 hectares of land have been put up on the electronic trading platform, and 15 lots (34.45 hectares) have already been sold with a total value of 52.6 billion UZS.

In addition, a highway and sidewalks have been created at the entrance to the “Chorbog” sanatorium at 10.7-11.2 kilometers of route 4P10 of the Charvak Reservoir (territory of the Novobod MCA). This measure was taken to accommodate the increased number of tourists during the summer.

By the end of the year, 8 investment projects worth $52.2 million are planned to be launched to serve tourists, and in 2024, 54 hotels, recreation centers, shopping and entertainment centers, sports and fitness centers, and catering facilities are to be built. The total cost of the work is $320.1 million.
