DUSHANBE, 07.01.2025 (NIAT Khovar) – A new company will be built in the Dangara Free Economic Zone for the manufacturing of construction and facing products, specifically tiles.
Recently, members of Tajikistan’s lower parliamentary house approved an investment contract between the government and Tilemaster Investment Limited Company.
The main objective of this agreement is to attract foreign direct investment, create employment opportunities, and further the country’s goals for rapid industrialization by producing new domestically-made goods.
The project requires a total investment of over 50,000,000 and is expected to take 18 months to complete.
The annual production capacity will be 12,360,000 square meters.
Upon commencement of operations, the company will generate over 500 permanent jobs and 1,000 indirect jobs (such as construction, supply of raw materials, and transportation of finished products).
During the first phase, at least 80% of the workforce will consist of Tajik citizens.
