Sergey Lebedev, Secretary General of the Commonwealth of Independent States, has recognized the Delphic Games as one of the most noteworthy youth initiatives in the CIS. In his message, Mr. Lebedev praised Bishkek, the city hosting the event, for its vibrant culture, historical monuments, and natural beauty. He also noted that the Kyrgyz people’s hospitality would make it an unforgettable experience for the 600 young participants from the Commonwealth, aged between 10 and 25, who will be competing in ten categories, such as piano, violin, fine arts, and more. This year’s Delphic Games are in line with the theme of the Year of the Russian Language as a Language of Interethnic Communication, as declared by the Council of Heads of State of the CIS.
