The President of Uzbekistan Honors the Memory of Heydar Aliyev

Upon his arrival in Baku, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Alley of Honor to pay his respects to the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev.

Heydar Aliyev is well-known in Uzbekistan, where he always placed a special importance on fostering friendly relations with the Uzbek people. His centennial anniversary was widely celebrated in Uzbekistan, with postage stamps issued and various cultural, educational, and scientific events held.
A street, square, and memorial bas-relief dedicated to Heydar Aliyev have been constructed in Tashkent.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev laid flowers at the grave of the great statesman and politician Heydar Aliyev, expressing his admiration for his memory.
