On October 18th, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with Wang Bo, Chairman of China CAMC Engineering, in Beijing.
CAMCE is a major Chinese corporation that provides engineering services and invests in industrial and infrastructure projects. They have already undertaken several operations in Uzbekistan, such as the development of the Olympic Village for the Asian Youth Games, which are set to take place in 2025.
During the meeting, the two parties discussed the potential of expanding their joint efforts, with particular focus on the construction of dams in the region, modern infrastructure in “New Tashkent”, and the implementation of advanced agricultural technologies.
President Mirziyoyev gave instructions to create a plan of action to speed up the realization of the agreements already made.
