The Polish-Asian Chamber of Commerce proudly presents a conference in Germany highlighting the economic and investment potential of Uzbekistan

The Polish-Asian Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Wirtschaftsrat der CDU e.V., organized a major event in Görlitz, Germany, focused on exploring opportunities for collaboration in the energy, logistics, food production, and defense industries. The main focus of the conference was to further strengthen trade, economic, and investment relations with Central Asian countries, with a special emphasis on Uzbekistan. The opening speech was given by Dino Uhle, Executive Director of the Wirtschaftsrat der CDU e.V. Janusz Piechociński, President of the Polish-Asian Chamber of Commerce and former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Poland, delivered a keynote address highlighting the economic cooperation with Uzbekistan and sharing his insights and experiences gained over the years. He provided detailed information about the extensive reforms taking place in Uzbekistan, discussed the current state and future prospects of Uzbek-Polish cooperation, and described the favorable economic and investment climate of the “New Uzbekistan”. Mr. Piechociński also expressed the willingness to create new opportunities for Polish and German businesses in Uzbekistan. Shohrukh Rakhmatov, Head of the Uzbekistan office of the Polish-Asian Chamber of Commerce, actively participated in the conference, offering his perspectives on developing trade and economic cooperation with Uzbekistan. Representatives from the Polish company SKW Projekt, who were present at the event, showed interest in implementing significant projects related to mining and the production of sand-gravel mixtures in Uzbekistan. UzA was also in attendance.
