Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, is in Berlin for a working visit and is hosting a gathering of representatives from Central Asian countries and the Eastern Committee of the German Economy. Ms. Katrina Claas-Mühlhäuser, Chairman of the Supervisory Board and the Committee of Shareholders of «Claas KGa GmbH», is presiding over the meeting, which is also attended by the Presidents of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The purpose of the negotiations is to examine the investment potential of the Central Asian nations and to investigate ways to make it simpler for German businesses to function in the region. Furthermore, they will be discussing how to enhance the productive partnership and assessing the chances of launching new projects in the major industries of the countries involved in the «Central Asia + Germany» initiative.
