At the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Head of State was welcomed with enthusiasm by the world community, the public, and experts. He spoke of the reforms that have been made in recent years, and provided evidence to back up his claims. The President proposed 15 goals to be achieved by 2030, such as doubling the GDP, reducing poverty to seven percent, increasing access to healthcare, education, and other social services, providing clean water, and more. He also suggested 20 initiatives, advocating for global security and humanity over any existing disputes. These initiatives included a world conference in Uzbekistan in 2024, combating forced and child labor, preventing extremism and terrorism, and more.

The President underlined the significance of education in reaching sustainable economic growth and improving living standards, and declared that by 2030, every child will have access to kindergarten, and every second school graduate will be able to go to university. He also reminded us of Imam Bukhari’s words: “There is no, and there will be no other salvation except knowledge.” To make these ideas a reality, it is necessary to create a strong legal foundation for them.
