The Moscow Drama Theater named after A.S. Pushkin presented Anton Chekhov’s play of the same name at the State Academic Grand Theater of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi. Directed by Vladimir Mirzoyev, the performance depicted the sorrowful alteration of eras. The audience was presented with a poetic and truthful representation of the crumbling of human destinies in the face of the decline of the empire. The Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan supported the event.
