The Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan, led by Deputy Director Elmurod Najimov, convened a discussion with the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of Indonesia Sandiaga Uno, senior officials of the ministry, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. The purpose of the gathering was to plan for the Fourth World Conference on Creative Economy, which is set to be held in Uzbekistan in 2024. The potential visit of the Indonesian delegation to Uzbekistan, with the intention of signing a Memorandum of Understanding, was also discussed.
The attendees of the talks discussed the tourism potential of the two countries and the measures for its development. Moreover, the delegation participated in the Friends of Creative Economy (FCE) international discussion forum on “Formation and provision of strong strategic support for the creative economy”. The event was attended by key industry experts from more than 35 countries.
