The 3rd CIS Games to be held in Azerbaijan

At the 2nd CIS Games, which are being held in 11 cities of Belarus, Mariana Vasileva, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, declared that the 3rd CIS Games will be hosted in Ganja, Azerbaijan, according to TASS news agency.

Ganja is the second most populous city after Baku. A new modern facility is to be built there to host the CIS Games.

As per the Republic of Azerbaijan’s sports representative, the possibility of competitions in the form of regions will be taken into consideration. Besides Olympic sports, traditional sports will also be included in the games system.

The 3rd CIS Games will be held in 2025.
