The 17th Delphic Youth Games of the CIS countries are being held in Bishkek

The 17th Delphic Youth Games of the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States have begun in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Participants aged between 10 and 25 from Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan are taking part in the competition. Altynbek Maksutov, Minister of Culture, Information, Sport and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan, highlighted the importance of the Delphic Games in fostering friendship and cooperation among CIS youth. Edil Baisalov, Deputy Chair of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, read out a welcoming letter from President Sadyr Zhaparov to the event participants. Additionally, the Russian Federation’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Nikolay Udovichenko, read a greeting from President Vladimir Putin, which acknowledged the significance of the competition. Putin’s message also mentioned that the event will help young people explore their artistic potential, display their skills on an international platform, and receive expert recognition. After the official opening, the Games continued with a spectacular concert.
