DUSHANBE, 22.11.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – On November 23 and 24, the city of Dushanbe will host the 12th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission of Tajikistan and Turkmenistan on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.
The President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov discussed the need to strengthen trade and economic relations and boost the activities of the Intergovernmental Commission during their meeting in Dushanbe in September of this year, which was held in conjunction with the fifth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and meeting of the Council of Heads of Founding States of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea.
The leaders also talked about cooperation in the field of trade and economics, including increasing the volume of trade and broadening cultural and humanitarian ties.
