On 07.06.2025 (NIAT Khovar), during the 11th CIS Council on Industrial Policy meeting in Dushanbe, Tajikistan’s Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavki Zavkizoda held a meeting with Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade Laziz Kudratov.
It was highlighted that the trade turnover between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan in January–April 2025 amounted to $184 million, showing an increase of $6.1 million (3.4%) compared to the same period last year.
The ministers discussed ways to enhance economic, industrial, investment, and trade cooperation, with a focus on investing in priority sectors and implementing joint infrastructure and industrial projects.
