Tajik and Uzbek Leaders Meet in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE, 24.07.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – Prime Ministers Kohir Rasulzoda and Abdulla Aripov held a meeting in Dushanbe on July 22 to discuss various areas of cooperation between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

The two sides expressed interest in deepening ties in the fields of energy, trade, transport, agriculture, tourism and other sectors.

The Prime Ministers of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan highlighted the successful implementation of the goals of the heads of state to develop cooperation between the two countries.

It was noted that the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation plays an important role in promoting bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
