DUSHANBE, 18.07.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The Tajik Aluminum Company’s foreign trade turnover for the first six months of 2023 was more than $113.2 million, including imports of $48.9 million and exports of $64.3 million, resulting in a positive balance of $15.4 million. This is a good result considering the current financial crisis.

The company’s sales of commercial products for the first half of 2023 amounted to 232.9 million somoni, and the volume of product sales was 227.0 million somoni.

During the first six months of 2023, the company increased wages in more than twenty divisions and sections, resulting in an average salary increase of 10% compared to the same period last year.

Currently, the company employs more than five thousand people, with almost two thousand of them being women. In the future, it is expected that the number of employees will increase by another one thousand five hundred, up to two thousand, due to increased production and investment.
