Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], July 29 (ANI/NewsVoir): On 29th July, 2022, Sunrise Oncology Centre, established in 2017 by Dr Ashay Karpe, Girish Korde, and Dr Bharat Bhosale, will inaugurate its new centre in Borivali West.
The upcoming centre aims to provide comprehensive cancer care, including core systemic treatments like chemotherapy and immunotherapy, as well as other essential services such as psychological counselling, nutrition advice, physiotherapy, genetic counselling, and pain management. This centre will be staffed by medical oncology experts trained at renowned institutes like Tata Hospital.
Equipped with the latest technology, the new centre offers a scalp cooling machine, laminar flow machine, and an Oncology-focused patient management software to ensure high-quality treatment.
The goal of this comprehensive cancer care facility is to address the existing gaps in cancer treatment in India, such as limited access to innovative treatments, value-based care, and prioritizing the patient and caregiver experience. The vision is to be the preferred choice for comprehensive, holistic, and internationally recognized cancer care.
Padmashri Prof. (Dr) Rajendra Badwe, Director of Tata Memorial Centre (Chief Guest), says, “Cancer care must be approached holistically, taking into account a patient’s physical, emotional, and social well-being. Early screening is crucial, and with advanced infrastructure and experienced oncologists, Sunrise Oncology Centre will provide high-quality, comprehensive cancer care to many.”
